Somebody say something really defamatory. I want to know the moderators are ok.

Something defamatory?... uhh, yeah. The Twins are the greatest.

we needed to keep Robbie. Players like him do not come along every week. And Sano will be back soon, we need a spot in the OF for him, so we can keep Our cleanup hitter. And lest someone thinks I am not paying attention we signed a guy to DH for the next 4 years so we are set there also. Sometimes it's necessary to look at the big picture.

Players like Grossman don't come along every week?  The Grossman we are seeing right now doesn't come along every week, but players like Grossman are almost always available.

So Dick is wondering whether Oswaldo gets claimed. And thinks he might end up back with the Twins MiLB. I would hope Arcia would not do that. I think the history with this team precludes that.

With few exceptions, the Twins do not appear to know how to coach young hitters to maximize their power potential. I would argue that David Ortiz and Danny Valencia are spectacular examples of a system-wide failure. I think Oswaldo Arcia is another example. Ortiz went to Boston, where they merely told him to go ahead and smash baseballs. Valencia found a better swing in Toronto, an organization that may have a cure for the timid Twinkie style of hitting.

If Arcia went to Toronto, it would be interesting to see what their coaches could do with him. He might become a 30+ home run guy for that team and become a very rich man.

Meanwhile, I just hope the Twins don't screw up Buxton, Kepler and Sano.

An 8.8 on the Scathe-o-meter! Well done.

I need to invent a sarcasm emoji. In a couple weeks I will be able to sell it to Google for 1.7B and then buy the Twins. :)

I'm mixed on bringing Sano back. Why rush him and aggravate the injury, on the other hand, if he's healthy he should play. On the third hand, if he's gonna be going back into right field anyway, just do everyone a favor and leave him on the DL. On the fourth hand, wouldn't it be just like the Twins to do that with their best player? Extend his DL stint even though he's gotten healthy, because there's no where to play him?

3rd Guy is worried that it's going to be boring on the island now so he wishes that his friends were back on the island with him.

Demote Park, play Sano at DH.

2 guys lost at sea in the middle of the ocean in a small boat. They have no hope of being found and they are dying of thirst.

They float past a bottle and grab it out of the water. They open it and the grateful Genie grants them one wish and one wish only.

Immediately the 1st guy says.. .I wish this entire ocean was beer.

The Genie grants the wish and is gone forever.

The 2nd Guy looks at the 1st guy and says "You Idiot!!! Now we have no place to go to the bathroom".

I think it would be umwise as a new owner to disrupt the FO in a time of transition. I would need time to assess each employees strengths and weaknesses, before I would consider wholesale changes? .................... In the unlikely event change is warranted, I think an in house replacement would be preferred, to continue operating in the Twins Way. Or maybe I'll clean house, who knows?

Twins reclaim their rightful place at the bottom of the MLB standings tonight, and just as importantly, widen their MLB lead in negative run differential to 15 runs. Minus 15 runs. 15 minus runs. Whatever.

If you're gonna be bad, be the best bad you can be! And with this news I bid a fond adieu.
