Buxton and Kepler

In defense of Max Kepler's rough start at the plate so far, I think it should be noted that he has faced an unusually high number of left handed pitchers this year. He's got 20 PA against right handers and 19 PA against lefties. If he gets the start tonight, it'll be another lefty in Chen.

I'm really not for optioning Park; I'm OK with him learning up at the MLB level.

However, if a month from now we see that it did work for Buxton and Park is still struggling, I'm more than comfortable changing my approach to the situation.

Park is a transitioning vet. Give him some time, he's got the knack and the talent, just need some adjustment period. Will he hit .300, no, but .260 and 35 dingers with .350+ on base is certainly possible. He could be a real nice protection for Sano next year as 3 and 4 or 4 and 5 hitters. Let things settle in for 2016.

Aren't there plenty of pitchers to be sent down? Dean, Rogers, Boshers, Kintzler (pretty effective so far) and Duffey (three straight bad starts). IMHO, Duffey has been given more rope than Milone had. Pressly has had some good appearances lately, I truly doubt they would use his last option at this point.

duff should have more leash. Still don't really know what they have. I think he might be a reliever, but I'd rather see him struggle than Milone

Are you saying that he is currently struggling? I think there is room for improvement but I wouldn't exactly call this struggling.

Hughes is struggling

Dozier is struggling

Plouffe is struggling

Rosario struggled

Escobar is struggling

Nolasco is struggling

Jepsen is struggling

May is struggling

DSantana is struggling

Suzuki is Suzuki

Park could be better but he has a 109 wRC and on pace for close to 30 HR's while making the jump from SK to MLB. What was everyone expecting?
