Willingham hit his 25th home run last night in the Twins' 97th game of the season. That is the ninth fastest in club history. Where will he end up? So far, only Harmon Killebrew has hit more than 35 homers in a season in the Twins' history. He did it eight times.

Willingham is still on pace for over 40 homers. He has reached 30 in 116 team games. That is the eighth fastest pace in Twins' history. He is the twelfth Twins player to reach 30 in one season (24 times total).

His power has been a real bright spot on the 2012 team, and he's making the FO look pretty good in this case. I also love that they found a right-handed masher who can make use of the left field bleachers at Target Field. I never figured the park for the home run wasteland it was in 2010-2011, and Willingham is starting to prove that it isn't. Here's hoping for 40!
