Just for some perspective on how wretched this twins team is:

The 1962 mets, who went 40-120, trailed in all but 15 games
The 2003 tigers, who went 43-119, trailed in all but 14 games
The 2016 twins have played in 53 games and have trailed in all but two. At this rate, the twins are on pace to trail in all but 6 games.

Wow.

So.....we're not winning the World Series?....or are you saying there's a chance?

I'd like to know why Suzuki is in this game.

The starting pitcher, even though a lefty, is allowing left-handed batters to hit over 300.

For such a keen baseball mind, Molitor seems to do some very old-school baseball stuff.

I didn't know that about the pitcher and I was still wondering.

Ol' jack is really riding dozier. Wonder how this will play in the clubhouse? Words of criticism are not welcome there

probably why Jack is doin it.  then again, doing it every Dozier at bat gets old.

Perspective is where the railroad tracks meet.

Don't wanna be there when the train comes...

So I was in the hospital earlier today, asking at the front desk about a friend.  I heard this voice ask the receptionist if he could get an appointment, as soon as possible. I couldn't see anything, however, and was wondering where the guy was.  Then I heard "I'm suffering from temporary bouts of invisibility," same voice.  I thought to myself, well, that explains that.

I was waiting to visit my friend, when I heard the receptionist call out, "Wherever you are...uh...you'll have to come back.  The doctor can't see you today."

Well, somebody's got to speak the truth to lack of power there.  It's pretty clear the manager isn't doing it.

Actually, Brian ... you don't have this quite right. Pomp and Circumstance is the larger work; or rather, it's the name given to a grouping of marches. And the one that most are familiar with, because it's used at graduations, is March No. 1 in D major. The official title of that particular march is Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1 in D major (and NOT March No. 1 in D major from Pomp and Circumstance.) Sometimes you'll hear orchestras do several of these marches together in a concert, but rarely would you hear all five of them; and most often you'll just hear them performed individually as each is its own work in and of itself. It's not like Pomp and Circumstance is a larger work, like a symphony, and one the marches is an equivalent to one of the movements in that larger work. Put it a different way ... a symphony would be like a book, one large book, with one story start to finish, and the chapters in that book would be like the movements in a symphony; Pomp and Circumstance would be like a large book of stories; each story is separate from the next ... different plot, different characters from one to the next. The marches grouped under the title Pomp and Circumstance would be like these individual stories in this larger collection.

And I'm sure that's all clear as mud. But I tried.

How would you know? Do ya track that type of stuff for a living or something?

I've never typed anything inaccurate!!!

The sentence directly above is actually inaccurate!!!

I'm just saying, telling us the same thing every at Dozier at bat gets old.  Made the point, move on.  Wait until tomorrow to say the same thing.
