Guy Fieri doesn't drive beyond US borders! Overall I'm not impressed with his selection of restaurants for the show, at least in the Austin area. He chose an average BBQ place and an over-rated cafe...

I've been to a few of the places he's showcased and didn't like any of them.

Just once I'd like him to take a bite of something and do the Tom Hanks in "Big" caviar scene.

Actually, yes he does. But just how far across, probably not very; and how often, probably not very. But I have seen shows from T'ronto and Vancouver over time. He should rename his show as so many of them I wouldn't categorize as diner, drive-in or dive. But I still like the show.

At some point I'll need to figure why my videos are displaying as URLs instead of embedded videos. They didn't use to do that.

Worked for me ... are you putting [m e d i a] and [/m e d i a] around the address? (without the spaces, of course.)

Those who we’re strong enough to withstand the winds and stay rooted have learned to carry on like a wayward son but they realize that they are only dust in the wind regardless.

Do you think there's a chance our baseball friends from the greater Kansas City area might loan us a couple of "miracles out of nowhere" before we reach "the point of know return"?

Will the wind and rain hold off enough tonight to let fans "hold on" and ultimately "play the game tonight"?

I guess I haven't seen the episodes when he went international. I still like the show too. The Food Channel is my go-to when there's nothing else on TV.

The person in the rear of the boat is in charge of steering. However, it's also that person's job to steer to wherever the person in the front wants to go, without question. So ... does that help?

Next time skip the canoe and two one-person kayaks.

A good idea, I have always wanted to drown alone! :) Living on the river I have often noted that all canoe paddlers go down river. But none ever come back. This is apparently where early man got the idea the world was flat, as I am assuming these people must have fallen off the end somewhere. Hopefully not in Le Seuer? Which I am sure North will tell you is French for "The Sewer". Seems a strange name for a town?

Someone else had this problem a while ago; the solution is in a blogs thread starting here, but should probably be separated since it occurs in forums as well.

I always put the embed code Chi provided around my URL's, but I'm pretty sure it's not necessary ... at any rate, the trick is copying the URL from the browser rather than clicking "get video URL."

So if Guy Fieri wants to try excellent dining he should travel to SW MN. Laugh if you will, but Langes in Pipestone is worth the trip. It was a difficult choice Sunday, 120 miles one way on the bike for breakfast, or another Twins nail biter. We opted for the ride. It was as advertised, a 10 on a scale of 10. If Guy can find Pipestone, he should give it a try. :)

Yes! I am on a high carb, low on fiber diet! :). We went with two friend from Milwaukee. A Mr. Harley, and a Mr. Davidson. :). We are currently sitting at Tim Hortons waiting for North, but he still hasn't showed up?

That makes sense. I was envisioning an actual bicycle you were on... And since you mentioned before that you're 6'5, I was picturing the avatar of our old dear friend, Negativity Police....

The Twins agreed to a minor league deal with Sean Burnett. Yea!

I hope that ain't the old guy who owns Burnett Realty? Now they are signing up advertisers also? What next, the old white haired guy from Menards? (true story, he was also the complaint dept manager for corporate), Hannahs Horse? Flo from Progressive?

From MLBTR:

"He’ll hope to make a return to the Majors for the first time since 2014 under his new deal, as surgery to repair an elbow impingement in 2013 and Tommy John surgery in 2014 have slowed his career."

Yeah, I got nothing.....
