Telling ya, he has like 7 players pulls their positions out of the hat, and papers with the word 'bench' are in the hat too.

I think, at this point, if buxton turns out to be even half the player he was projected to be, it would be one of the biggest turnarounds we've seen. He has been nothing short of brutal offensively in his time at the bigs. Like ba-rutal.

I know comments like the one I just made regarding buxton are verboten on this board and thread, but at some point he's going to have to start making progress at the plate. Like real progress. Not "he hasn't k'd in 2 games" progress. A less highly touted guy would not be shown a fraction of the patience he's been shown considering how bad he's been.

Park must've seen the lineup card. 3 bombs today, 8 in last 10 games.

I think the Gross train has run out of track.

The log jam at 1B/DH is real though. Would be nice if we could shed the Mauer contract but I doubt anyone would be interested.

RB - Thanks for the posting.  I read your introduction but obviously my reading comprehension was suffering.  I was excited to see more than 4  pages for the game thread through 3 innings!....I got to page 5 and realized it was posts from May.

 

I laughed out loud. Kind of had to be there to appreciate it. Go Twins!!  They got this game in the bag.
