Tonkin was warming... But I gotta say.

 

If it was me... it's not... but if it was me and I've got Meyer throwing on Tuesday and he hasn't thrown in a game since what... 8 days ago. 

 

If it was me... I'd try to get Meyer about 3 innings today.

WIth the off day yesterday, Mrs Chief and I went to the horse track. 

 

I picked a horse at 10 to 1.

 

The nag finally got to the finish line at two thirty.

As long as you made the Twins game, it's good, right?

BTW... It's a good joke but I'd change it slightly. 

 

I'd say... I picked a horse at 10 to 1 and sure enough it finished at 12:50 that night.

Took the bus home from work today.  This lady got on with a newborn, and the bus driver was just brutal, calling it the ugliest baby he'd ever seen.  She sat down next to me crying her eyes out, just a wreck.

 

I felt bad and told her she should have given the bus driver a ration of crap right back, she'd have felt better.  "In fact," I said, "you should still do that.  You go up there right now and tell that SOB off.  I'll hold the monkey."
