Yeah I can't top ABBA, it is pretty great though.

Don't Stop Believin' was ruined for me long ago.... Heard it enough to last a lifetime at sporting events and final call at the bars..

Damn vanimal is old before his time (I know I already said that, old people repeat stuff, get over it).

 

Picking songs is hard for me, I can never remember their names.

 

Mayor of Simpleton by XTC is my favorite love song. I learned it on guitar last year as a surprise for my wife.

 

Other than that, I'll have to give it some thought.

It's the thought that counts. :)

 

I only picked up a guitar for the first time 3 years ago or so, and am teaching myself, and have zero innate musical ability........it's been a real challenge. Oh, and I am a terrible singer too. And yet my super musical wife still likes me, so that's nice.

I'm reading a book called The Concerto: A Listener's Guide by Michael Steinberg, and he lists ChiTown in the acknowledgments.

Yeah. Michael Steinberg passed away several years ago ... cancer. He was a brilliant man. I actually haven't read the book, but I remember when he was working on it. We would lend him scores, and other source materials, from the library.

I might be acknowledged in another book ... different author. I can't remember for sure.
