Not often, but he has a few times.  And I don't get the sense that the Twins value him as highly as these outside prospect sites do.  

 

I'm not sure about the second part. The issue is they don't think he can't stick at SS and they are pretty locked in at 2B and 3B. But if one of them gets hurt Polanco would be called up and play every day.

 

I thought he was the guy to move for an elite bullpen arm, but that can still happen at the deadline. For now they have depth and a good chip to fill a hole once that materializes.

By Gleeman standards, those were pretty optimistic write ups.  The Kepler comment - #1 prospect on most teams - is nice.  It's also nice that the top 4 prospects should all make a ML appearance this year.

I liked how realistic these were. Frankly, it's true that most of these guys have glaring weaknesses, and there are very, very few all-star types to come out of any draft. Yes, we hope that they all make it, but it seems like it's too easy to get hyped up on prospects simply because they're ours.

Agree with both of you - I appreciate that Gleeman generally plays the realist (bordering on wet blanket) when talking about young players or almost any kind of exceptional performance, but it's hard not to like the excitement that's creeping into these last few writeups.
