Ah-Seop Son Posted

Obviously, I know nothing but he looks like a good on-base guy but he's only 5'9" and doesn't have a lot of power.  He'd really have to hit in the majors to make it work. Seems risky but again, I know nothing.  If the Twins think he'd be a better corner OFer than Rosario, go for it.

He's listed as a corner outfielder. Without CF skills (not that we need to lock up CF for someone else than Buxton at the moment), from his stats I am guessing his bat doesn't play in the majors.

I agree. I think Nishioka when I look at this guy, however it would boost the Korean fan base for Minnesota and would potentially have us as favorites in the Korean market(like the Yankees and Japan) I'm a big fan of this. That's why Max Kepler is my favorite prospect. Kepler adds something most players don't have, German influence, and if he's good then could potentially make Minnesota a landing spot for German ball players. Got a little off topic there anyway, Son is not a need but could fill a spot if they end up trading away Arcia.

If the Twins sign another Korean player this year, I would rather they sign Seung-hwan Oh.  They need a bullpen guy like that more than they need a corner outfielder.

Details on Oh: http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2015/11/seung-hwan-oh-free-agent.html

Son is a better on-base guy than Park, but comes with much less power.  I'd pass on Son.

Korean outfielder has been. posted
Do the Twins want to acquire another Korean player? Probably not, but it will be interesting to see where he goes.

What the heck?

If he doesn't hit, we can option him to translator's school so the coaches can communicate with Park.

Son gets no bids

I'm a little suprised no one put a bid on him. He reminds me of Nori Aoki a little with this contact approach from the left side of the plate. Better luck next year, Son. Lotte Giants are probably going to be posting Jae-gyun Hwang (3B) and he's most likely going to get more attention than his teammate.
