Man, Eddie Rosario's arm is really bad.  Every team that plays the Twins should definitely try to take an extra base every time a ball is hit to Eddie.

I have a hard time believing the coach told him to go... I think Rosario just lost his mind for a second and somehow it worked out.

Also, I did not see a replay of Glynn's right arm, it is true. I just assumed it. Kinda reactionary of me.

Thats about a 150 foot throw, if the fielder is alert it's still a tough play as that example proved.  If the fielder is napping it's an easy run.  With 2 outs the risk is minimal. 

 

In game 7 of the world series last year Nate Silver ran the #'s and came up with Alex Gordon should of tried to score despite the fact the cutoff man had the ball as he was rounding 3rd.

The Catcher has time to catch it... Take off his gear... moon the crowd... put the gear back on and make the tag.

I don't think it was him just putting it into words - I think he was speaking from experience.

An interesting strategy... "Let's see them overturn the call on video review if they have to black out the relevant part of the screen..."

 

But yeah, i'm not sure MLB would approve.

It was interesting... I've got a physical strange sensation going on. It's hard to describe but it's similar to the time I drank Nyquil and Red Bull at the same time.

I disagree it was still going to be a bang bang play, unless your asking for a perfect throw without setting his feet first.
