Just joining you all now ... I keep hearing Hawk say "Kansas City Special." There, he said it again. He must stay up nights thinking of new ways to annoy his audience. I looked online ... found a discussion of Sox fans ... from about a month ago ... and none of them understand where it came from. We all know what it means of course.

hawk always reminds me of a guy who will likely end up meeting the same fate as David Carradine, that dude is just beyond weird,

Why in heaven's name do you let Fien pitch to a LH pinch hitter, with multiple LH relievers in the pen?

 

It was like Molitor was totally unprepared for a LH pinch hitter.  Cotts should have been up the minute Ramirez got on.  This one is on Molly, not Fien.  He shouldn't be pitching to a LH hitter in that situation.

God, I love this bullpen full of guys who can't strike out anyone to save their lives but will pass out walks like they are freaking candy.

They have to be 30 years or older, and most guys up in that age zone don't strike out as many guys.

 

The Twins have failed to find a young bullpen pitcher who can get strikeouts. Yes, they have May, but they took him from his starting spot, [and if he returns there next season] I don't really count him.

There have been so many ridiculous posts in this thread acting like the Twins are trying to lose. In my opinion, the way people think like that, they must be sad and depressed all the time, and I'll say I feel sorry for you, since you guys are just the average pessimistic Twins fans.

O'Rourke 27/11.4

 

I think it's pretty clear that our bullpen is too old and has too few strikeouts. We can't rely on Boyer, Fien, and Duensing to pitch in these close games.
