Yeah, that's F'ed. Potato Ole's should be #1.

I also think it's a bunch of BS that a Slider from White Castle's is not on the list. Love them or hate them, they are an American institution and it is treason to keep them off the list. It's a top 50 list for Christ sakes!

I want to throw a shout out some forgotten and mostly defunct fast food heroes from my childhood...

• Pizza Hut Pizzas before the delivery craze hit in the mid-late 80's. Pizza Hut was actually once a pretty good pizza restaurant prior to 1984-85... it was not fast food. Does anyone remember the Priazzos?

There was a Pizza Hut in my hometown that was a legit sit down restaurant and did not deliver. Their lunch buffets were very good... Unfortunately that location closed down, and the other location that was specifically pick up or delivery survived. Sad day...

I am not saying the now defunct Pizza Hut in your hometown wasn't good, but I also blame the buffet craze for destroying Pizza Hut - as a matter of fact, it destroyed Godfather's Pizza as well, which was also a reputable sit down restaurant in the 80's.

Oooof. I couldn't finish mine. Your's sounds worse....

There isn't much I'll order from there, quite frankly. Nothing breaded or deep fried for sure. I stay as simple as possible. Usually veggies or brown rice with something chicken. That's it. In a bowl to go. But all that stuff is overly salted.

What is your worst fast food experience?

I have three:

McDonald's in the 80s ... food poisoning. Last burger I ate from there.

Au Bon Pain ... was ladling out some soup to go, and when I pulled the ladle out of the soup tureen, there was a big, long hair attached to it. I almost threw up right there. The worst was when I showed it to the attendant, she had to go back in the kitchen and ask the manager what to do. Seriously.

White Castle, somewhere in Indiana ... Stopped to get some food (not my choice), went in to use the bathroom, and omg, I have NEVER seen a more disgustingly dirty and smelly, literal, **** hole ... gross, gross, gross ... Never wanted to eat in a White Castle before, certainly never will try to do so every again.

Food poisoning from a hot dog at the Southdale or EP theater. It hit just as we started to drive home. Almost didn't make it home.

Watching someone that clearly had some mental issues eat dessert with her hands, straight out of the buffet on the cruise ship. She just kept dipping her hand in whatever it was and eating it. That's why you never eat the buffet food, people.

Several other food poisoning issues, the details of which I cannot recall.

Hey, you can play tennis, ride a bike, do things you enjoy. You're just fine.

The injuries, though, and the arthritis in my foot, just might be telling me something ... I'm not quite ready to listen, though. :/

I should never have started this one. Heh.

I got bad oysters once ... was at a very romantic dinner out with my bf at the time ... food poisoning struck at a most inopportune moment later in the evening. ahem. yeah. (But that wasn't fast food related so I didn't mention it before.) You just really can't trust food anywhere. Who knows what's been washed, looked at, smelled ... before being 'prepared' and served. Not to mention the hygiene of those handling and preparing said food. But you just can't focus on that or never eat out again, anywhere.

In flagrante un-delicto.

That's part of the Charm of White Castle, along with the fist fights you will observe between 1:00am-4:00am on Saturday and Sunday Mornings.

Buffets ruined society. I strictly refer to them now as as "Food Petting Zoos".

Got sick from Burger King's fish sandwich. Haven't stepped foot in their establishments since. Since then I have not ordered a fish sandwich at any fast food restaurant.

I'm also one who doesn't send food back at sit down restaurants, unless it's exceptionally bad... Well, last fall I took Miss Vanimal at that time to an expensive, nationwide steak and seafood restaurant to celebrate a work win. By the time we got our food 1 hour later the sides + steak were cold and inedible. Got the waiter's attention and sent it back.... 20 minutes later we have food again, but the replacement steak was charred on the bottom. The new sides were fine, had a few good bites of steak, and half of it was left on the plate. At the end, I still had to pay the full bill, and I was still hungry.

You guys! Today is National Banana Cream Pie Day!! My grandmother (RIP) used to make the best banana cream pie with a graham cracker crust... Mmmm.

Today is also National Old Stuff Day! It's spring cleaning season, and it's time to get rid of your old stuff. I'm working on getting rid of clothes that have been sitting in storage containers and other things in my closet. General rule of thumb is if you can't remember the last time you wore that shirt, give it to good will.

Today is also National Read Across America Day! The book I'm reading now is A Life In Parts by Bryan Cranston. Learning more about what he had to do before finally striking gold playing Walter White in Breaking Bad is quite interesting.

On this day in 1972, NASA launched Pioneer 10! The first man made object that was built to leave our solar system and see if there's any forms of life in a galaxy far, far away!

Finally, on this day in 1983, the compact disc made its' debut in the US and Europe! What was the first CD album you bought?

Not goodwill. give it to an actual food bank/charity. Goodwill is a for profit company.

I do like banana cream pie.

Tomorrow is Make Someone Else Happy Day (not the actual name, I don't think)....how are you planning to make someone else happy?

What about Salvation Army? I actually like to give clothing there, because they will take it ALL, including rags and tatters ... which they make into rags, stuffing and other things. I, personally, don't like the idea of donating clothing that truly cannot be worn again ... I mean, really ... if it's not physically good enough to wear, why or how would anyone else be able to wear it? But I think Salvation Army makes use of all fabric they receive, which is better than just throwing it out.

I'll bake treats of some sort for the crew at work. Last night I made Swedish meatballs for me, which made me very happy last night, and for the leftover meals to come. So tonight I'll bake something for the stage crew at work. They work harder than anyone here.

National Old Stuff? That hits a little too close to home. :)

Pioneer 10 (and 11) carried the famous plaque into the cosmos.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pioneer_plaque

Also it was blown up by some bored Klingons in Star Trek V.

Oy- first CD album? Maybe Rumors? Maybe Goodbye Yellow Brick Road? - Don't remember. I started by replacing some of the 8-tracks that I had.

Thirty burpees a day is a lot of burpees for an old guy that never works out......

If you had the right work out music it would be a snap. You should put together an appropriate play list for that!

I do 5 when I first get out of bed. Then trying to do 2-3 an hour at work, though that's not easy in these clothes....then the rest when I get home. That's the plan on day 2....
