Old News... He's been a .300 hitter for at least 30 Minutes.

 

Yeah, but I just flipped on gamecast.  Given the forum activity of the last few hours...  stuck in the airport watching X files >>>> Minnesota Twins baseball.

 

 

Edit:  that and gamecast isn't working well...

Dicknjack were talking about Rosario being a single away from the cycle. The cycle is probably the most overrated accomplishment in baseball. People sometimes cite that it's rarer than a no-hitter but a no-hitter is a much more significant accomplishment because teams almost never lose no-hitters. The cycle is an unusual statistical quirk but that's all it is.

I switched to Windows 10 and couldn't get my Kaspersky security to work...got a fix, but but hit the Spanish version by mistake....had to remove and start all over again....got it working as frogs and crickets did their thing in the background, I could hear their laughter :mad:

Twins need more runs.....

Would be interesting to see the correlation of hitting for the cycle to winning. With that much offense as a baseline, I would expect losses to be infrequent. (Granting that losing a no-hitter is even more infrequent.)

I agree about being interested to see the correlation, but I wouldn't think that 4 hits has a high correlation to winning.

Yeah, lookin' at Wikipedia, they seemed to have ended in '04.

 

Also there was a brass instrument company up until the 70s. Some tubas seem to be kickin' around still.

 

Neither are new i guess...

It just occurred to me to look up Torii Hunter's current UZR for 2015. 

 

I just had this flashback to his 2014 -18.3 UZR heated discussion in the off season. 

 

It's currently 2.1 

 

Can we just adopt UZR as the best stat ever right now.
