Joe west is such a fat piece of ****. I'm not saying I hope he dies of a massive heart attack, I'm just saying I wouldn't not celebrate the day.

It was actually... Most likely the right call. Nunez was quite a bit inside the line.

However... I can't figure out what Cron was doing. It looked like a routine throw and should have been a routine catch.

So what your saying is that you hope it happens tonight on camera, just so his last moments could be document and celebrated throughout history.

it would only top it if The Twins were playing the White Sox and Hawk managed to have a heart attack on air (but survive, because I sort like his whole bit)

I don't think that was the wrong call although it appeared the ball went in and out of his glove before Nunez ran through him.

it certainly did, he never actually caught the ball.

It does seem that Joe West loves to take the opportunity to insert himself into the middle of the game whenever there is a borderline call.  I prefer umps to stay on the outskirts of the game.  Bottom line is a guy just got rewarded for a terrible throw.

Now that I'm living on my own for a year. I've realized that there was a bunch of things that I didn't do.

When my wife joins me.. I'm gonna be better. I just ain't at that point yet.

Living in New York for 8 years this is the first time I have had in unit laundry, I actually enjoy doing it now instead of hauling it down the street (first 4 years) or going down to the first floor to do it (last 3 years).

Though I'm sure like $800 of our monthly rent goes to this "amenitie"

All that is to say that doing laundry when it's in your own place? Piece of freakin cake!

I think we're out of luck with West. He's such a diva he has surely planned his on field death for a high profile Yankee/Red Sox playoff game.

Eventually a piece of cake for me... Until then I'm gonna avoid wearing white.

How does the 3rd base ump miss that in the first place? You have like 3 calls to make all game max

No one ever confused DJ Reyburn for a good umpire.  It's not too difficult to have perfect positioning and look right at that play and see how easy of a call it is.  Only thing I can think of is that he didn't think Plouffe made contact with his tag.

As for the Nunez play, he can't be running that far inside the line.  And with interference, you don't necessarily have to make contact or the catch need to be made...you just have to impede the play in order to be dinged for interference.  Because he was so far inside the line too far from the base, it's actually a pretty easy call.

I like how the Angels TV broadcast (and the A's) don't use FoxTrax or Fox Tracker or whatever you want to call that strike calling computer thingy ... Not even on close calls that are replayed. I like that.

I take it back. They just showed FoxTracks thing on Escobar's strike out. What do I know? They don't use it "often"?

I disagree.  Where's the bag?  In fair territory.  Where do you have to run to touch it?  Just saying....
