DFA'd by the Braves.  Any interest in trying him instead of Robinson and/or Schaffer? 

 

He's shown the ability to take some walks, which still isn't nearly enough to make up for his inability to get hits.  He's one of the better threats on the basepaths, but my opinion is that steals are more a symptom of the system you play in.  Molitor hasn't shown much interest in running, it's doubtful Young would have the greenlight like he did in Colorado when he lead the league in steals.

 

Doesn't seem like much of an upgrade, however every time the Twins bring in a journeyman 4th (really 6th) OF, he starts off hot as hell.  See Sam Fuld, Jordan Schaffer last fall and Shane Robinson this spring.
