I'll give you 3 things to think about now:

1. I'll never write such a long OP again. Ever.

2. Here are some interesting statistics concerning this OP:

Details:
Words - 3089
Characters - 16731
Characters (no spaces) - 13630
Sentences - 178
Avg. Sentence (words) - 18
Avg. Sentence (chars) - 94
Paragraphs - 78
Reading Level - 11-12th Grade

Keyword Density:
the - 149 (5%)
to - 115 (4%)
and - 90 (3%)
that - 73 (3%)
of - 63 (2%)
we - 50 (2%)
my - 44 (2%)
was - 44 (2%)
in - 40 (1%)
it - 33 (1%)

3. I'll won't reference this OP again unless someone else brings it up. We've all had enough, right?

That's about the same as a Harry Potter tome, isn't it?  In the "ballpark," anyways...

Yes you can. :) One pitch earlier. But we like to get the pitch count up; kind of a cat-and-mouse sort of a game. You know. :)

I bet he could probably have jogged around the bases a mite faster too.

But 'tis good enough for me.

Anyone else on the Twins care to follow his example?

5.0 scoreless so far for Tommy Milone today. That's 28.1 shutout IP in a row this season and 34.1 dating back to last season with the Wings.

Looks like they need to find a place in the rotation for Milone.

Geez, kinda hope that husky dude just ahead doesn't stand up at an inopportune time.  Kinda block out the sun, maybe.

If he stood up, maybe he'd be able to see if it says:

I've been saying this for awhile.

I lived in Chi-town for all of the 90's.  The "cell" was new then, and what a stinker of a park.  Good grub, but it's Chicago, so it has to be, but....   Sheeeee-it, they blew it on that baby.  They removed the top of the upper deck, thankfully, it was vertigo-inducing.  And corporate-blue seats, it looked like an outdoor version of the Dome.  AND, worst of all- the most beautiful skyline in America, and where is it?   BEHIND YOU.  You can't see it from the park.  Even in the outfield seats, cuz they were blocked by the massive upper deck.

After the shine wore off the first year, nobody went there anymore, so anytime the Twinkies came to town, I'd head to my buddy's bar on 34th and Halsted, then to Ugly Comiskey with a load on, sit wherever I wanted, nobody cared, nobody there!  Eat some good ballpark chow, and listen to the players chatter throughout the game-

Heh, one time, some jagoff was giving it to young Torii Hunter in a non-family-friendly way,  and Mr. LaTroy Hawkins poked his head above the dugout.  Saw my Twinkie cap and said- who's that with the big mouth back there.  I pointed to the culprit, and said, "that fat f*ck in the jacket."  He summoned an usher over, and that took care of that.

Ahhh, Chi-town in the day.  Lived for 9 years about 5 blocks from Wrigley.  Dose were da dase, my frient.

Seeing lots of Twins shirts out in the crowd. If I had some small placards advertising TD I'd hand them out. But I'm pretty sure such activities at a stadium is prohibited.

Then you just need to combine the t-shirts and the advertising.

Of course you're a woman in Chicago so that actually might not stop people from yelling at you to take off your shirt.

Once again I come to the game thread and have to go to MLB for a SCORE or DETAILS of the actual game ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)

Meh, we said Dozier hit a homerun, didn't we? That's all the score...

Someone even mentioned that Gibson had a perfect game through one, as small as that was...

I guess we have to spell things out for everyone...

Currently White Sox have runners at first and second with one out, so some excitement at the moment.
