I don't know why they like Cameron for the Twins so much. With the players they have on the board at #6 I think it would be between Bregman, Allard, or maybe Aiken.

Twins love toolsy HS guys, they love bloodlines, they've been scouting the crap out of GA the last few years and they are pretty good at developing CFers.  He seems (to me) a perfect fit outside of being represented by Boras.

Probably prefer Allard, but from what I understand, Cameron is one of those guys who could turn into the best guy in the class. I think I'd prefer a prep guy here anyways unless they decided they wanted a college bat like Happ.

Cameron is probably top two athletic, but he wants about 90% of the bonus pool, and that will probably turn the Twins away.

With the team looking better, and the top prospects kicking ass, they can afford to go with a long term bpa kind of guy. Whether that is Cameron or someone else, our system just gets better and deeper with who-ever.

Agreed as a general approach, I just don't think Cameron is/will likely be the BPA. He's also asking for above slot money, which seems ridiculous to me.
