Not really.  There was a little thunder and lightning but we just never get any rain.

 

Quit sending that California drought our way!

 

 

OOPS!  Mistakenly thought I was answering Ash.

Ours is a crisp and refreshing Nevada drought.

Why is it that if somebody, just anybody, says "The Twins are gonna win this," the Twins are immediately placed in serious jeopardy of losing the game, but if somebody, anybody says that we're going to lose... well, it's kind of given, right?

I thought maybe you lived high enough in the mountains that you were getting some snow and rain.   :)

What we get is still a wintry mix. But we got probably 25% of a normal winter. And this is the worst of three poor ones in a row.

Because the game is no fun anymore...disaster just struck in my house. My sister bought tickets for my mom and a few other family members (me excluded - wail) to a Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra concert, and they were mislaid for about 5 minutes. Imagine the ruckus.

Nothing goes right today, does it? I had 4 perfect days in a row, and now everything is falling down around my ears. What next? I burn whatever I decide to make for Mom for supper? Speaking of which, any suggestions?

I see Salazar has a perfect game going. Nine straight retired after three innings. Hope we don't get shut out.

And this should serve as another reminder, folks, that you can't jinx the other team's pitcher by mentioning he's on a roll or something. The most you'll do is jinx your own batters that way.

Maybe not but he didn't have a perfect game going ....

 

He gave up a home run to Dozier and then got 9 out in a row.

 

Maybe the jinx only works when it really is a perfect game????
