Um, what do you mean? I don't get it.

It's just a running joke on Broad City. Poor Abbi wants to be a trainer at the gym she works at, but not only is she just a bathroom cleaner, they issue her a shirt that says so, so that all know. So the "joke" here, such as it was, is that you were at the gym because you work there, trainer or cleaner, not as a client. :)

Oh. Well, I don't want to be a trainer, nor do I work there, and I don't know that show. but I spent an hour with one and he put me through a few paces. I followed that up with two hours of cardio tennis. The first hour of that was pretty hard cardio. The second hour was more play. Still, my feet hurt.

. What's "cardio" tennis? My version would be me running back to the fence to pick up balls I missed. But I am assuming you are more proficient! :)

It's basically tennis drills designed with an emphasis in cardio. The class is for those who know how to play tennis, but it's actually a cardio workout more than it is playing a set of tennis.

If this game thread were the Gong show, I'd be gonged...

And it would be the long entertaining dancing gong, where everybody's having fun except for the sad sack on stage who's about to cry and doesn't know if he should continue :)

I miss the Gong show! And The Man Show! It seems that true iconic television is a thing of the past! :(
