So I searched all over the help forums, and I am not sure why, but I don't find any of the icons to embed video that are mentioned in those forums.  Am I missing something?

Click on the icon between type size and the eraser. Click on the BBCode drop down menu and select 'Media.' Put your url and and click 'Okay.'

A more manual method that amounts to the same thing is to precede the URL with the word "media" inside square brackets, and then close it with "/media" inside square brackets.

 

Like this:

 

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EZTUYwjWBs

 

Here is the above URL without the surrounding meta-code, and with an extraneous space thrown in to prevent it from being interpreted as an embedded video anyway:

https: //www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EZTUYwjWBs

 

It works for me with www.youtube.com URLs that have "watch?v=" after the slash. The URL might need to be of the type that starts "https://". If you're trying to post a video from some other source, maybe none of this works.

They're mlb.com videos that I can't get to work.  I've tried what you're talking about with no success.
