Never posted an official recap, but suffice to say my trip to see the Lookouts far exceeded my expectations!!

 

One thing to keep in mind in the stadium is that their home dugout is on the 3rd base side. Doesn't say that on their seating map, but would have liked to know. Also... there are a total of approximately 1 coffee shops (zero on Sundays) in the direct "downtown" vicinity, so if you have any work responsibilities while you're on your baseball tour.... don't plan on working from a cafe with wifi. (Ben & Jerry's on the corner of Broad St and Aquarium Way may or may not have amazing wifi if you ask nicely and tragically have to eat Whirled Peace while you're at it...) Walk the river front and the Veterans's bridge over to the north side. Very scenic little town!

Oh! I made it to the game on the 19th (Tuesday night) - The Hair of the Dog Pub was a great place to get a couple drinks and a snack before the game. The prices inside the stadium were very reasonable (to me anyway, I'm used to the ridiculous MLB pricing...)

 

Saw homers from Buxton and Stuart Turner. Sano made several very good defensive plays. I missed Berrios by a day, though apparently his start was not so hot...

Here's Buxton coming home on that Grand Slam. I missed taking a photo of him actually hitting it, he swung at the first pitch! The Lookouts waiting for him are Adam Brett Walker III (8), Heiker Meneses (5), and Michael Gonzales (50)
