After watching the interview, I'd say Hawkins seems like a guy willing to problem solve and carry some responsibility, and open to numbers-driven decision making.

 

He seems to still have connections within the Twins organization. It also wouldn't hurt to have some competition or a succession plan for when Ryan wants to step down.

 

What do you think?
