iPad issues

I'm not sure it's strictly an iPad issue specifically, or a tablet issue in general, but when reading on the site, whether I'm in an article, in a forum, or in a thread, sometimes in the middle of typing a reply, it 'breaks' and I get the message "A problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded."  When it reloads, it reloads to the top of the page of wherever I was and not exactly where I was; and of course if I had anything typed out, that goes away.  Any chance of fixing this?  Not sure why it does this, but it does; sometimes several times a session.

 

I also have very limited use of typing responses ... can't use the link function at all, have no use of italics or bold in font styles, copying and pasting is almost impossible.  Basically, I have little function other than just typing out words and hitting enter ... even if using the advanced options.  I can post pictures, but can do little else.  Is this just the limit to functionality using a tablet?

 

Anyway ... not sure if you have an iPad to test this on; or maybe you don't have an issue.  (Btw, my iPad is up-to-date, isn't even a year old, is an Air.)

I have an iPad Air 2. I'll make a dedicated effort to use the site for a week on the device. It's been a long time since I used the site extensively on an iPad; certainly before iOS 8 released.
