Arcia Brothers Go Deep In Venezuela

The Minnesota Twins' outfielder Oswaldo Arcia joins his little brother Orlando, a shortstop prospect for the Milwaukee Brewers organization, on Caribes de Anzoategui in Venezuela this winter. On Monday, both brothers launched home runs -- Oswaldo's reportedly crashed off of the stadium's scoreboard (check out the second video on this page: http://www.meridiano.com.ve/videos.jspm). For the elder Arcia, that marked his second home run in his six games while the younger leads the league with six home runs in his 25 games played.

Also playing in that winter league is outfielder Aaron Hicks, who is with Bravos de Margarita. Hicks' season so far is very reminiscent of the regular season: He is hitting just .220 (11-for-50) with just one extra base hit (a home run) but has drawn 13 walks and has a healthy on-base percentage of .381.
