Password recovery

Had an account for quite a while, but forgot my password.  I couldn't get the site to send an email to start the recovery process (it says an email was sent, but I didn't recieve one).  Attempted several times on multiple days, and checked my spam folder. 

 

I gave up and created a new account with a different email address.  It's possible that I'm just a technologically inept geezer, but it might be worth checking in on the password recovery process.

The one I had trouble with was through zimbra.  New account is linked to a gmail address.

Okay, thanks. I've tested the system in Gmail and it seemed to work fine. I'll test it in other email providers.

Brock, you can test with charter.net if you are looking for other email providers.  I've had to resort to using a junk Yahoo account for TD because I experience the same thing as the original poster - system tells me an email has been sent, nothing arrives.

Ugh. Email is pretty much the worst thing ever. It's akin to the Internet running entirely on 16 versions of IE 5 with each company adding their own quirks and exceptions that break the process.

 

It's easily one of the most poorly executed pieces of the internet... Which is terrible because it's also one of the most important.
