Bye Bye New Britain?

Fascinating facts from the Chattanooga team website:

"From 1932 to 1959 the Lookouts were affiliated with the Washington Senators who went on to become the Minnesota Twins in 1961. Chattanooga won three league titles as a Senators affiliate including one under manager Cal Ermer ... Hall of Famer, and former Minnesota Twins' great, Harmon Killebrew also has roots with the Lookouts. The 13-time All-Star spent two seasons with Chattanooga and hit a combined 46 home runs with the team."

Two seasons? Call him up already! Man this system promotes everyone slow. :)

Although a long shot....I think moving AAA to St. Paul would be a great move.  I believe the International League teams mostly fly anyway and I think the club would be supported strongly due to the affiliation with the Twins.  Conventional wisdom would suggest they would compete with each other but I don't believe that to be true.  Rather, the fans that go to the Saints games would likely continue plus they would add another segment who are interested in seeing the Twins future players.

I think this would be great.  I mean, how could it be worse than Rochester, NY?
