Interesting find although just reading the qualifications pretty much gives me a headache.

And a warning to applicants, go look at all your social media postings about the Twins!!!

LOL. You'd find I'm very boring. And you'd find that I definitely lack 99% of the other qualifications. :)

Nice to see you post here again and good luck in finding a GREAT HIRE!

Good to see the organization continue its march to 2000 technology levels.

Thanks. it has been tough doing advanced analysis on an abacus and collecting scouting report info that has been filed on loose-leaf sheets of paper. The visual reporting is all done with pencil and paper sketches. Oh, and the fax machine will finally be retired.

:)

After the season, I hope you'll come back here and explain to us a little about how you've made use of the data provided by all the new censors, etc. put into TF. I remember reading a bit about mlb putting in new measuring devices prior to the season in some parks and know that TF was one.

Would really appreciate it if you could give us some insight when you aren't quite so busy.

You'll really miss the "sniff the fresh stacks of mimeographs" Friday afternoons.

I have to admit, this job posting makes me wish I got into computer science instead of theology.

I'm pretty much demanding that Brock applies.

This has to be a fake application - I don't see the requirements:

  • Battling tail off.
  • Develop the software the right way.
  • Have a last name where you can add an "ie" at the end.

Don't forget the ability to "fire it through the Internet".

I was a programmer 30 years ago, did a lot of software development, specializing in report writing. Think they could use someone with experience in BASIC?

  • Ability to lift and transport items up to 55 lbs.

The Twins still have that bag of balls we traded JJ Hardy for?

Jim Hoey dislikes this comment, is not buying Dave a steak dinner, and is beginning to tear up a bit.

So would you let Jack know right away, or type with pain for a while until your queries keep spitting out Mike Pelfrey?
