Key and Peele has some funny stuff. I don't watch it much though

I knew, I mean I KNEW, as soon as I typed that, that I'd see a response along those lines. Kiss of death for entertainers to be liked by me.

Ok... Here are some more... Tell us if you've heard of any of them.

Benny Hill

Benny Mardones

Benny King

Benny Anthajets

Benny Hana

Careful, Tibs. One of those is a joke.

No on the first three. Bennie and the Jets is a song by Elton John. Benihana is a restaurant.

I had an electric football game that would screw up reception on the Magnavox console.

I wanted to play that game for hours but I always stopped after the running back kept going straight out of bounds for no reason.

Yeah, but people such as Tibs who don't see daylight for years at time (I assume) aren't considered weird shut ins in today's culture. They're just people like everyone else.

This isn't me at all. I live on a farm, coach baseball and umpire, and work out every day. I don't use the internet much during the summer. I just like the Twins a lot.

Might be the first time I've seen those names

Jack Benny's stuff has actually aged pretty well -- even some of his radio stuff.

Our kitchen light used to knock out the radio -- which was why it was exciting when we finally got FM radios for Christmas one year. I am not quite as old as it sounds, my parents were always slow on updating technology. I don't think we had a cassette player until the 80s. We had a phonograph that you could fold up like a suit case and move from room to room. I remember listening to old Jack Benny records when we came to Minnesota in our covered wagon.

The Lucille Ball video link on the first page is quite good - even though you know the joke is coming, it's done so well you can't help yourself. Even the mean boss almost broke character :)

Speaking of breaking character... Harvey Korman and Tim Conway... Those things used to make cry laughing so hard.
