This is how I plan to spend my retirement! :)

I would love to have season tickets and live in/near Minneapolis. Not sure I could handle the snow though. Cold doesn't bother me, but I'm not a fan of snow.

I love corn and pigs (I'm a sheep farmer, however). Corn is always interesting.

Corn is really interesting when a friend of yours decides to pick some in a field behind a rest stop. Take it home and cook it without knowing that it might not be the delicious corn on the cob he was expecting.

And Brian forgot that Iowa also has an abundance of soybeans and cattle.

Your sheep are a little more rare although we did have a lamb packing plant in a neighboring town until several years ago so maybe not as rare as I might think.

Oh, you misunderstood ... Florida in the winter and spring ... Minnesota late spring and summer into the fall :)

Don't forget the Maid-Rites... They are awesome.

Iowa is about 10th in the nation when it comes to the amount of sheep/lambs.

It didn't work out this time, and thanks defense for lazily getting that ball in and letting the third run in, but Deduno is the one guy I almost expect to load the bases and get out of it unscathed. But he's also the guy that could get two outs on two pitches and have six straight guys reach before the third out. Either way he's fun to watch pitch. With our offense lately, our pitchers have no margin for error. A "quality start" is just a one run loss until the hitters start hitting with runners on base again. Maybe today's the day.

I have little to none... Farm experience... However... Growing up my Uncle had a farm(eieio) and he had pigs for a time.

High school aged... I went to visit for a week and helped him out. The 5 in the morning thing wasn't much fun but I was shocked by the reality of it. Yeah... They poop and you gotta shovel that stuff but Mom rolls over on the babies and kills them all the time.

Me: Ahh Uncle... There's a dead baby over here.

Uncle: Just throw it out into the Hey Pile.

Me: Really???

Uncle: Yep... Just throw it on the Hey Pile

Me: Shouldn't we say something first

Uncle: Like what

Me: I don't know... He was a fine pig or something like that.

Uncle: You can if you want but don't take long... We got work to do.

(So I grab the baby pig by the feet and toss it out of the barn into the Hey Pile and the dogs immediately come a running and start eating it).

Me: You don't buy a lot of dog food do ya

Uncle: A little but it's a long way to town.

(before I'm done... I probably find 5 dead baby pigs and I toss them all in similiar fashion.

Me: I see why you don't say anything... You probably run out of words.
