This past Sunday, the Star Tribune gave a glowing review of Tim’s Down to the Last Pitch, which chronicles the Twins’ 1991 World Series victory: http://www.startribune.com/entertainment/books/253802591.html

Robert Weintraub has written for The New York Times, Play, ESPN and Slate, among other publications. The Victory Season, his second book, chronicles the 1946 MLB baseball season when soldiers and players alike returned to a league that, much like the country, was reassembling itself. Based in Atlanta, Rob is also a television producer with dozens of credits on outlets such as ESPN, Turner Sports, CNN, Discovery and ABC Sports.

Dick Bremer has been broadcasting Minnesota Twins games since 1985. The former Staples High School pitcher does the television play-by-play alongside Hall of Fame pitcher Bert Blyleven, his broadcast partner for 19 years. Bremer's distinctive bass, warm personality and encyclopedic memory make him a fan favorite.
