If you look at the above line and ask me why he was the pick of the night, my answer would simply be "because I needed to pick one". In a night where no pitcher, starter or reliever, had a good night, I went with Shibuya. He was roughed up last start, so to see him bounce back to a "respectable" outing, and to do it on a night where the Twins pitchers gave up a lot of runs earns you Pitcher of the Day!
