A possible Bullpen strictly from the 2012 Draft????

In a draft that nabbed Buxton and Berrios (and to a lesser extent AB Walker) the Twins drafted Luke Bard, Mason Melotakis, JT Chargois, Zach Jones, Tyler Duffey, DJ Baxendale and Taylor Rogers.

Some relief pitchers are already making an impact, some are on the cusp of a Major League career, some are still projects.

What are the chances of that potential Bullpen?

If it does happen:

Would you be happy with it?

Would the 2012 Draft be the best in MN Twins history?

Thoughts??

Walker is gone. Buxton could be the next Gomez, Revere, Hicks center fielder sent packing (with Granite taking his spot). Berrios needs to come to the majors. Where is Jones right now? Bard is getting older from injuries. Duffey and Rogers are here and holding their own. Chargois could be a stud. The Twins didn't see fit to add Baxendale to the 40-man this off season.

Only time will tell.

Jones is on the DL but will probably start in AAA. You could replace Jones and Bard with Burdi and Jay. I think it would be interesting if an entire bullpen came from one Draft class.

There is a lot to like in this class.  It has just taken longer to arrive than we all have hoped.

To the haters, one gift from Terry Ryan.  A draft where Twins might have 5-6 players make it and contribute.  That would be an outstanding class.
