Former Twin Pat Neshek was nearly perfect this spring. In nine innings, he did not allow a run. He had 8 strikeouts. He never walked a batter. So naturally, he was sent to AAA today. The right handed pitcher will be taking his unusual delivery to the minor league system instead of facing our beloved Twins this weekend.

 

 

 

The timing is unfortunate because he was sure to have plenty of family and friends back home in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota watching the opening series on TV, hoping for a glimpse of the former Park Center High School standout.

 

 

 

Neshek signed a minor league contract with the Orioles in January.
