Twins Minor League Report (8/21): Sam Gibbons says Hello!

The Minnesota Twins resumed their winning ways and came up with a 4-1 victory against one of the hottest pitchers in baseball. The Twins ended a 20-inning scoreless drought when Kennys Vargas homered to give the Twins a 1-0 lead in the forth off of Corey Kluber. Twins Minor League Report (6/25): Adam Brett Walker II and Miguel Sano Homer

Twins Minor League Report (8/5): Tommy Milone Starts in AAA

Kennys Vargas made his Target Field debut on Tuesday night and did not disappoint. The big fella hit a three-run home run to give the Twins a 3-1 victory, despite being out hit by a tally of 12-5. Twins Minor League Report (8/14): Mat Batts Continues to Impress

The Twins enjoyed an off day on Thursday, and begin a four-game series with the Royals on Friday evening. The Royals are red hot right now, having just taken over first place in the American League Central, and looking to do damage against a struggling Twins squad. While things might not go well at Target Field this weekend, there will be plenty of solid performances in the Minor Leagues. Twins Minor League Report (6/11): Ryan Eades' Best Professional Start

The Twins used an off-day on Thursday to make a couple of roster moves. Time Stauffer was designated for assignment and Michael Tonkin was recalled to take his place. Eddie Rosario returned from the paternity list and Jorge Polanco was optioned back to Chattanooga to make room. Twins Minor League Report (8/6): Kohn Stewart Shines in Miracle Walk-Off

After yet another Minnesota Twins loss, the Twins made a couple of roster moves on Thursday night. Tyler Duffey was optioned back to Rochester, and Eric Fryer was designated for assignment, clearing a spot on the 40-man roster. In their place the Twins recalled A.J. Achter and Chris Herrmann. The addition of Achter means the Twins have a nine-man bullpen, and only four starters. They'll next need a fifth starter on August 13th, so expect to see another move in the middle of next week.   RED

TwinsDaily Minor League Report (7/18): Park Goes Yard, and Gonsalvez Dazzles

In baseball, and in life, the only constant is change. The Terry Ryan era has come to an end and with Rob Antony in charge, it will be an interesting couple of weeks until the trade deadline. Twins Minor League Report (8/7):

The Twins managed just three hits against the Oakland Athletics and Jon Lester and lost the game by a score of 3-0. Thursday was a busy day in Minor League Baseball as the Twins shuffled their affiliate rosters around, moving more than a dozen players around.   Transaction Report: Daniel Palka has been promoted to Rochester, David Martinez has been released, Edgar Corcino, Tyler Jay, and Felix Jorge have all been promoted to Chattanooga. Twins Minor League Report (5/7): Cedar Rapids Shines

The Twins survived a short start from Ricky Nolasco (four runs in five innings) and won a back and forth game against the Oakland Athletics on Thursday. The Twins scored six runs on just five hits, helped along by six walks and a pair of errors from Oakland. The victory wraps up an 8-3 homestand, including a four game sweep of the Chicago White Sox. Twins Minor League Report (7/9): Arcia and Vargas Go Deep

Mike Pelfrey did not pitch great for the Twins on Thursday night and was a victim of his own efficiency as a low pitch count had him in the game into the eighth inning, despite a well-rested Twins bullpen after a midweek sweep of the Royals. TwinsDaily Minor League Report (4/21): Berrios Dominates and Jay Lights Up Radar

Last year the Twins selected Tyler Jay, a college closer from the University of Illinois, with their first selection in the draft. Jay spent the rest of 2015 in the bullpen, but has been stretched out and is starting games for the Fort Myers Miracle.
