Walker gets jumped over by this years 3rd rounder who is only 2 months younger (Turner) and in Rookie ball. He is the 7th ranked guy on his own on team? and still behind 2 guys who have yet to pitch this season (Bard & Chargois)? Adam Brett Walker II and Jonathan Murphy played next to each other in the OF @ Jacksonville University (FL) but came up short in terms of an ASUN title. The duo is definitely doing thier part to lead the CR Kernels to a second half divisional title. Murphy is also an exceptional outfielder (possibly best) according to manager Jake Mauer. I was just discussung this with friends in regards to - Adam Brett Walker II: Through college and his professional career - he is 51 for 52 in stolen bases. Does anybody know when the minor league spring training schedule is released? I was hoping to come down to Ft. Myers and see some of the lower prospects play. I can't plan my days if I don't know thier schedules? Best week with most home games, etc.?
I really hold back what I would like to say about then payroll arguments here. The fact that people don't accept the amount taken in dictates the amount going out requires one of two things. Extreme financial ignorance or fanatical bias that prevents the acceptance of something some basic. I did not change the argument. It's the same idiocy over and over. Do you really want to be on the side that suggests revenues does not determine spending capacity?
At this point in the pre-season, I’m just so happy to be seeing games again, I don’t care about the Twins record in 2023. I think they’ll win it all, unrealistically speaking 🙂
