What is wrong with the website this year? Not 1 Photo or Video this season. No interviews. There is not a single video highlight of any play this season in Fort Myers. It is as though the season may have never existed to this point. The surprising part is no one seems to care but me. Who are these prospects and what do they look like? CR Kernels post 100's of photos from each game on there Facebook page. Who is in charge of exposure for the club? Maybe if people knew what the product
With the minor league all star games approaching - Whom do you see making their respective League All Star Games? Several non top prospects are having excellent seasons. Rochester: New Britain: Fort Myers: Cedar Rapids:

The Miracle are the only affiliate not to have Video and/or Photos on their website from this season. We are 30+ game in to season and fans have no way to evaluate their prospects other than the written material they read on website. I would love to see what some of these guys look like (even an occasional photo). Despite new ownership move - what is the excuse for limited news coverage? How awesome would it have been to see Buxton score from 2nd on a wild pitch? Etc. Etc. Any thoughts?..
Adam Brett Walker II hit the first pitch he saw in his first MLB game and drove it out of Jet Blue Stadium for a 2 run Home Run and the start of a key 7th inning rally, in which the Twins took the lead for good (7-4). It was the most runs the Twins had scored since March 14th. This kid is special. Does anyone know of the last time a Twin to hit a HR on his first professional MLB pitch? He followed his great start off with a double to left center in his next AB. 2 for 2 on the day. The mos

I've been studying the possible roster of the Ft. Myers Miracle this 2014 season. They are almost a replica of the 2013 Kernels except they are starting the season with Kepler as opposed to Buxton. Seth and Jeremy had different opinions as to how well they would do. One said they wouldn't even make the playoffs and the other had them with the best team within the organization. That being said - What do you think?
Crazy Question: 1) Would you rather have player (A) who averaged 1 hit per game while going 1 for 4 every game during his season, but got on base at a .250 OBP and had a .527 Slugging Percentage. (30 HRs / 10 Triples / 30 Doubles / 92 singles / 302 Total Bases / 104 Runs Scored / 124 RBI)? or 2) Would you rather have player ( who through an entire season, got on base at a .405 OBP and had a .468 Slugging percentage. (10 HRs / 4 Triples / 28 Doubles / 168 singles / 276 Total Bases / 84 Runs Score
Minor leaguers have been in camp for 2+ days and there is no information on the happenings of our minor leaguers: How are practices going? Who looks in shape or out of shape? What interesting drills are guys going through? What guys are practicing new positions and how do they look? Are they with teams or soley position groups at this point of camp? When do games start? Are there schedules available to post? I'm Talking Practice Fellas - Practice. Give me some news

Max Kepler is listed 14th amongst minor league first basemen. He is ahead of some promising names. Is anyone else surprised by this? 1st Base? Is this a sign moving forward? http://www.baseballamerica.com/minors/position-by-position-rankings-first-basemen/
The previous article on clutching hitting and pitching is a great analysis on the subject. My question is this: Is Clutchness a State of Mind or does it have to be developed throughout your minor league development? http://tenthinningstretch.blogspot.com/2014/01/clutch-hitting-and-pitching-and-2013.html
There are roughly 145 minor league players in the Twins organization. As I look at the Twins current players - I found these approximate numbers: 96 Players - White 66% 40 Players - Hispanic / Latino 28% 06 Players - African American 4% 03 Players - Asian 2% Does anyone know how these numbers correlate with the rest of the (MLB) league? This has the Twins with at least 34% of their MiLB players being minorities. What happened to all the African American baseball players in America?

The Yankees might be losing thier best player in Robinson Cano. That being said: They have no second basemen in their minor league system who are worthy of even playing 2nd base at the MLB level. Why not trade for Michael Pineda and give up one of our stud 2nd basemen and another prospect or prospects for a potential top pitcher? Does this sound possible? The Yankees can always pay for Top pitching to supplement this season and beyond. Not as easy to find a stud second baseman and we have 2

A list of 2013 Minor League All Stars who are also Cape Cod Alumn Drafting at the college level not all bad............ http://www.rightfieldfog.com/?p=3135
The below list is from the Twins 2013 Minor League All Stars. The question is: If the 2013 statistical numbers of the MiLB players on this list were projected to possible similar numbers in 2016 @ the MLB level - Would the Twins be in the World Series? Take into account that the MiLB players are probably 20 - 30+ games short of an official MLB season as it pertains to numbers. CF Byron Buxton SS Jorge Polanco 2B Eddie Rosario 3B Miguel Sano DH Chris Colabello C Josmil Pinto 1B Dalton Hicks
I just saw a youtube highlight video of Adam Brett Walker with the Kernels. The first short clip is an advertisement for the Kernels (be patient) and then there are 27 or 29 short highlight clips (15 - 30 seconds each) from just the Kernels home games in CR. He truly does have incredible power. Each HR must have been over 400 feet. Must see TV. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=adam+brett+walker+kernel+highlights&oq=adam+brett+walker+kernel+highlights&gs_l=youtube.12.

Adam Brett Walker II is the first player in the MiLB this season to reach 100 RBI. After his sac fly on Monday - he stands at 103 RBI. The question is: Can he break the CR Kernels Franchise record with 20 games remaining? Where will his potential record setting season rank in terms of Twins prospect performances over the years?
I really hold back what I would like to say about then payroll arguments here. The fact that people don't accept the amount taken in dictates the amount going out requires one of two things. Extreme financial ignorance or fanatical bias that prevents the acceptance of something some basic. I did not change the argument. It's the same idiocy over and over. Do you really want to be on the side that suggests revenues does not determine spending capacity?
At this point in the pre-season, I’m just so happy to be seeing games again, I don’t care about the Twins record in 2023. I think they’ll win it all, unrealistically speaking 🙂
